APPLICATION DETAILS OF HANKEN SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS



Welcome to Hanken School of Economics

Hanken is a leading, internationally accredited university in the field of economics and business administration. Staff
Hanken has approximately 230 members of staff, including 120 members of faculty, the majority of whom hold a PhD, operating in six departments: Accounting, Commercial Law, Economics, Finance and Statistics, Management and Organisation, and Marketing.

Hanken has campuses in Helsinki and in Vaasa.

MSc programmes in English

Eight two-year Master's Degree Programmes

Hanken offers several specialised two-year Master's Degree Programmes with instruction in English both in Helsinki and in Vaasa. It is also possible to study in English at master's level in the major subject Economics.

In 2010 Hanken is admitting students to the following programmes:

* Master's Degree Programme in Corporate Governance (Helsinki)
* Master's Degree Programme in Intellectual Property Law (Helsinki)

* Master's Degree Programme in Marketing (Helsinki)
* Master's Degree Programme in Real Estate Investment and Finance (Helsinki)
* Master's Degree Programme in Strategic Entrepreneurship and Marketing (Vaasa)
* Master's Degree Studies in Economics (Helsinki)

The basic entrance requirement is a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university. In addition, the applicant must have a sufficient academic background in economic sciences and a high level of proficiency in English. All applicants also need to take GMAT or GRE in order to be eligible for admission. The studies lead to the degree of Master of Science (Economics and Business Administration) / Ekonomie magisterexamen. For details, please read the information on admissions.
